About Us...

Oasis Academy Wintringham opened in September 2007, replacing Wintringham School. In its first year the Academy is housed in the existing school buildings. The Academy will transfer across to brand new buildings during the Academic Year 2008-2009.

Oasis Academy Wintringham is sponsored by Oasis Community Learning, which is a separate charity, but is part of the Oasis Global family. Oasis UK, a Christian organisation, was founded by Rev Steve Chalke M.B.E. in 1985, and began its work in the UK but now delivers educational, healthcare and housing projects throughout the world.

 The Academy is working in close partnership with Oasis communities in India through its Global Links Strategy to develop relationships and reinforce the Oasis ethos.
