Academy Day (from Monday 10th October 2011)

Boy & Girls Academy Uniform

To maintain the quality & standards of the Academy Uniform, the items displayed in bold are only available direct from the Academy.

The majority of Academy Uniform is kept in stock and is available to purchase from the Reception Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm (4pm on a Friday)

Order forms are available from Student Reception or you can download a copy from here.

Please can you ensure all garments of uniform are clearly labelled for students to identify their own clothing easily.

Compulsory Items

• Black Blazer with Academy Badge
• Black Trousers - Tailored, no hipsters
• Black Skirt for Girls - Not too short, no more than 5cm above knee
• Academy Tie
• White business shirt - short or long sleeved, must button to neck
• Black or White socks - no coloured socks allowed

• Black smart shoes - Black pumps or ballet style shoes are not acceptable

Optional Items

• Black jumper with logo - although this is optional for winter warmth, it is the only acceptable item for wearing under a blazer, not instead of a blazer
• Black & White Academy rain jacket

 No hooded tops are permitted

Boy & Girls Academy PE Kit

Students should always bring their PE kit on the days when it is scheduled on their timetable.

Compulsory Items

• Black Polo Shirt with logo
• Black Shorts with logo
• Black & Heather Football Socks

• Training Shoes

Optional Items

• Black & White reversible Rugby/Hockey shirt with logo
• Black Tracksuit bottoms
• Black & White Rain Jacket
• Black Fleece Top with logo
• Black Beanie Hat with logo
• Black Dance Leggings
• Football boots

 Jewellery and Appearance

One small stud earring ONLY is permitted in each ear.

A wristwatch may be worn.

These items will need to be removed for some activities and are the responsibility of the student.

NO OTHER JEWELLERY IS PERMITTED.

Extreme hairstyles or colours are not acceptable business dress and are therefore not allowed in the Academy.

We reserve the right to decide what constitutes extreme.
