March saw OAW’s first musical production a resounding success!
Staff and students worked alongside each other to sing, dance and act their way to a fantastic display of talent, hidden abilities and even a few secret dreams! The whole school took up the ‘Joseph’ baton and supported Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat (under licence by The Really Useful Group) with months of hard work behind the scenes building, painting, filming, sewing etc. for two brilliant nights of very catchy songs and some fancy footwork.
The students performed to a really professional standard and this was really appreciated by very enthusiastic audiences-some that enjoyed the show so much, they came again the second night!
Henry Ford once said that “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success,” and OAW have certainly proved this to be true!
We are now looking forward to production number two - whatever it might be-so keep watching this space!
