The North East Lincolnshire School Sports Partnership team is hosted by Oasis Academy Wintringham.
The Partnership aims is to increase participation, attainment and the profile of PE and sport throughout all young people regardless of age, gender and standard of performance across North East Lincolnshire. The partnership has been running over 5 years to work towards the National PE and Sport Strategy. The strategy has key strands, each designed to maximise opportunities for young people to access High Quality PE and Sport. The aim of the programme is to encourage all schools to ensure that every pupil within their school is participating in 2 hours of High Quality PE every week. The programme is also working towards a 5 hour offer, encouraging 2 hours of PE within curriculum and 3 hours beyond the school day and within the community.
We host 11 secondary schools, 50 primary schools and 3 special school across all of North East Lincolnshire. The partnership has a committed team working towards the 5 hour offer for all 5 - 19 year olds.
