I started at Oasis Academy Wintringham in March 2009. After the initial setting up, I launched the Leisure Club in August 2009.
Since graduating from the University of Teesside, I worked for Spirit Health and Fitness in Brighouse before moving back to be duty manager at Grimsby Leisure Centre.
I am extremely passionate about sports and helping people to be active.
I have worked as a receptionist for the Oasis Academy Leisure Club since August 2009.
I am an extremely experienced trainer and instructor having worked in the health and fitness industry for over a decade.
I have worked in both public and private sectors as well as being a self-employed personal trainer. Since graduating from University where I gained a BSc honours in Health Related Fitness and Exercise, I have specialised in supporting individuals achieve their own personal goals, through diet, exercise and emotional well-being.
I joined the Academy in March and now teach the majority of our aerobic classes. I am very excited to be bringing my knowledge and experience into the Academy, where I hope to continue to contribute towards the success and growth of a friendly and supportive Leisure Club.
Throughout my career I have always found quality time to spend with my family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, cooking and eating out.
I have been in the health and fitness industry for over 10 years and have diplomas in Sports, Business, Exercise Science and BSc Physiology.
My previous leisure employment was as a duty manager and fitness instructor at the Oasis Health Club, but I have had other roles in my career, which include an assistant practitioner and a physiologist at a nearby hospital.
I am a strong believer in promoting health and fitness but nothing gives me greater satisfaction than to see members reach their goals and attain results.
I have various hobbies which include looking after my allotment and currently exercise five times a week including football, running and, of course, gym workouts.
Aye mate! And welcome to limbo! Problem: I have no idea what page you're trying to work on. You need to define a body ID in the template, then turn on the necessary rows and columns in layout.css. Arrrrgh!
