Attendance and Punctuality
Oasis Academy Wintringham has high standards with regards to student attendance and punctuality and expects 100%. However, we do appreciate that all young people can fall ill from time to time and therefore our Academy target is 94% or above.
Our Senior Attendance Champion is Mr Craig Monaghan, Assistant Principal.

- Every lesson matters – children who have time off often find it difficult to catch up and do well at school.
- There is a strong link between the amount of absence and the progress/qualifications that a student achieves.

Your child is punctual if they are in their tutor room at the start of our day, which is at 8.30am. Students will be recorded as late if they arrive up to half an hour after this. If a student arrives any time after 9am, then this will be recorded as an unauthorised absence, and the student will not be given their attendance mark for the morning. These rules are set by the Department for Education.
