Welcome from the Friends of Oasis!

Welcome to the Friends of Oasis page of our website! The Friends of Oasis is our communities Parent Teacher Association. We play an important role in community life by raising funds to improve support activities that Oasis deliver within our local community, such as purchasing equipment and resources to enhance the life's of our families. We also provide funds to support groups in the local community in their delivery of extra-curricular projects.

We are only able to provide this continued support within our community with your help, either by volunteering to support with our fundraising or with the support of the families of the students and community members at our events.

However, the role of the Friends of Oasis is about much, much more than just fundraising: we are proud to assist in providing closer links within our community; we are an excellent means of bringing the students, staff, parents and our friends together socially in support of the Oasis family.

The Friends of Oasis operates through our Hub Team and we try to ensure that each family is represented and has a voice on how funds are spent. We hold regular meetings, but appreciate that it can be difficult to attend all the time which is why we encourage people to join even though we might not see them that often!

Friends of Oasis fundraising is great fun!

We are pleased to receive a lot of support and encouragement from both the academies and Parents/Carers. Without this support, it would not be possible to succeed in our fundraising endeavours. Joining a volunteer team might seem daunting, but it is a great way to get to know how Oasis works and meet fellow parents, teachers and community members at the same time. We really do appreciate any help, however big or small that help might be. We run a number of events throughout the year to raise funds. Keep an eye on the ‘Diary of Events’ to see what is coming up. Not all of our events are run as fundraisers. We assist at a number of events such as the academy discos, carol concerts which are run with the aim of giving the children a good time and as a way of thanking families for their continued support of the Friends of Oasis.

Shop Online and help raise funds for the Oasis Hub South Grimsby Charity.

Easyfundraising.org.uk helps charities, schools, sports clubs, community groups, and other good causes to raise money when their supporters shop online. It works in a similar way to many other loyalty shopping sites, but instead of earning points when you shop, you raise a donation for the charity instead! It's as simple as that!

You can shop with over 2,000 well known stores and each will donate up to 15% of what you spend. For example, John Lewis will donate 1%, Amazon 1.5%, The Body Shop 6%, some insurance retailers will even donate up to £30 simply for taking out a policy with them!
