Exceptional Education at the Heart of the Community

Leisure Club

The leisure club is much more than the hiring of our facility in evenings and at the weekends. It is a lively and welcoming hub of activity that provides a pathway for our students, their families and our staff to take part in sport & health onsite. Support their mental and physical health while removing barriers such as access or cost.

Our partner lettings all offer a direct pathway on site for our students. Our current partners are:

North East Lincolnshire Badminton (Free student places and curriculum coaching)

Grimsby Twist & Flip Gymnastcis (Extra-curricular clubs and lessons in curriculum time)

Grimsby Town Football Club (Extra-curricular coaching)

Grimsby Borough football club (Extra-curricular coaching)

A&M’s Dance (Extra-curricular clubs, free places to new starters for 6 weeks)

Grimsby Spartans Basketball (Free student places for 6 weeks and 50% after that)

Grimsby & Cleethorpes District Netball (Free places for 6 weeks)

We serve our community 7 days a week, 50 weeks a year with our letting partners and support community groups and fitness classes such as Grimsby & Cleethorpes Biggest Losers, Fitmums running groups, North Lindsey GO Ride cycling and Wardy’s battle ropes and tyres with free or reduced hire of our facility. In return these groups run staff and/or student fitness sessions.

Students (Yr 10 & 11 ) and staff are able to workout for free in our newly refurbished fitness suite with reduced a reduced rate for the community at other times. We are also excited to welcome Musical Arts Stage and Theatrical Productions on to site to provide a pathway for the arts.

The leisure club is a truly unique and special place where lettings recognise our ethos and values to offer fantastic opportunities to our students, their families, our staff and the local community as well as successfully running their own sports or health activities.
