Lesson 2

Work through the power point called ‘KS3 PiXL 2 Particles Misconceptions’. Make written revision notes and draw appropriate diagrams.  Complete the mini test questions from the word document and then check your answers.

Task 1 – Complete the section that you have been set on Seneca. If you are having any problems logging on then please check your previous emails from your class teacher. If you are still struggling then please do get in touch with your class teacher.

Task 2 – Click here and work your way through the website - maybe skip the ‘revise’ section if you’re feeling confident and go straight to the ‘video’ and the ‘test’ sections.

 Task 3  – Complete page 18 to page 23 of the work booklet that is in the ‘History Tab’. Write on paper. 

 Challenge Task – Research Task – Use the internet and your previous knowledge to answer one of these questions. Aim to write a good sized paragraph for your answer.

·         How did life change or not change for the working class over time during the Middle Ages?

·         What religious changes occurred during the Middle Ages?

Task 3: Read through this webpage to further develop your knowledge of fossil fuels and how they contribute to climate change. Read through pages 1, 2 and 3 then complete this 10 question quiz.

Task 4: Solving a climate change issue: It's time to get your geographer/scientist hat on! Can you think of a climate issue in a country and come up with a solution to overcome it? Read through the PDF resource called ‘PDF resource virtual home learning 6.7.20’ and have a go at the challenge.
