The Y7 football team have done it again! They remain unbeaten, making it 8 wins from 8. They faced an incredibly tough Whitby team in the Last 16 of the National Cup yesterday afternoon. The visitors were brilliant both on and off the pitch.
It was a game of few chances, with both teams showing excellent defending, but we only needed one opportunity, and we took it. With 15 minutes to go, we scored the decisive goal.
We now travel to Liverpool for the quarter finals.
Player of the Match: Rio - His work rate was non-stop, and he was clinical when his chance came to score.
Special mentions to Alec, Archie, Hugo, Alan and Jodie, who were exceptional throughout.
