One of our students had a truly unforgettable experience last week! Here’s their own words:
"I had the opportunity to visit The Horizons Project with some other students from school.
I was very lucky and met King Charles III when he visited Grimsby on Thursday. He spoke to me and asked me what I was doing today – I told him I was playing badminton. I said I enjoy badminton and I am good at it and that I play at a local club that is based at Oasis Academy Wintringham. He said he used to play it too. He then said he was impressed and that I should keep going with it. He was quietly spoken and I felt so privileged to have met him.”
